Title: Merchant Consultant (Full-time)

Job Description:

  • Generates leads, cold-calls, and prospects potential clients
  • Conducts in-person meetings to determine customer needs, presents customized payment, merchant financing and marketing solutions
  • Performs pricing analysis by assessing clients’ payment processing statement, and initiates proposals accordingly
  • Follows up with potential merchants by reviewing products and services features, benefits and terms
  • Closes sales in a timely and effective manner
  • Navigates potential lead sources; develops and maintains new lead sources
  • Develops new sales opportunities within the existing client base
  • Builds and maintains relationships with referrals and affiliates
  • Creates and develops marketing programs to increase sales

Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to succeed in a competitive market and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently and driven by results
  • Bachelors Degree, preferably related to Finance, Business or marketing
  • Solid critical thinking and persuasive communication skills
  • Previous cold-calling/face-to-face sales experience is a PLUS
  • Previous experience in the Merchant Service industry is a PLUS
  • Bilingual skills in Russian, Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese are a PLUS

Compensation:

  • Draw payment with minimum quota requirement
  • Commission per complete account and monthly achievement bonus
  • Residual income (accumulated recurring income)

Title: Appointment Setter

Job Description:

  • Generates leads, cold-calls, and prospects potential clients
  • Engages conversations with potential merchants by introducing products and services
  • Obtain customer information such as merchant’s name, address, and payment method, credit card sales volume, current pricing; inputting lead information into database
  • Gather credit card processing statements for pricing analysis
  • Schedule appointments for senior managers to meet with prospective customers
  • Follow up with potential customers to further engage potential sales opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to succeed in a competitive market and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently and driven by results
  • Good critical thinking and persuasive communication skills
  • Bilingual skills in Russian, Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese are a PLUS

Compensation:

  • During first two-week qualification period: Bonus per complete account signed
  • Once qualified: Base hourly wage + Bonus per complete account signed

Title: Director of Business Development

Summary: The Director of Business Development at Universal Processing serves as the leader of a sales team and drives revenue for the company. The DBD will be expected to support and mange a team of Merchant Consultants through training, mentoring, setting sales goals and motivating the team to maximize sales as well as to create an inspiring learning experience for new hires.

Job Description:

  • Recruit sales talent through campus recruiting, attending professional networks and through other means such as job board postings and LinkedIn
  • Conduct standardized interviews to identify and recruit potential sales talent
  • Host training programs to entry-level sales agents through classroom methods as well as daily practical methods
  • Function as a role model to new hires and team members by showcasing trainees to cold-calling, appointment setting, face-to-face meetings and closing sales
  • Motivate new hires to achieve sales goals, and mentor them to exceed sales targets
  • Work with senior management to continually improve training methods and material with the objective to improve and increase sales
  • Develop new sales opportunities by utilizing professional networks
  • Build and maintain relationships with referrals and affiliates
  • Actively monitor a portfolio of customers subscribed by the members of DBD’s team.
  • Actively manage and lead customer service efforts pertinent to customer subscribed by the DBD’s team
  • Continuously improve management skills through attending seminars, online courses and guidance received from senior partners
  • Hold periodical meetings with members of DBD’s team to revise performance related metrics as well as specific areas that require more knowledge and training

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year sales experience in the Merchant Service industry
  • Strong desire and self-motivation to succeed in a competitive market
  • Ability to work independently and driven by results
  • Solid critical thinking and persuasive communication skills
  • Being an optimist, a humanist and have solid interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and proven ability to engage audiences
  • Sales training experience preferred
  • Proven sales track record and leadership experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Organizational Behavior or related major is required; Master degree in related concentration is preferred
